The MTL VLSI Seminar Series has a new name - the MTL Seminar Series. The series committee felt that the new name more accurately describes the focus of the series. Prof. Joel Dawson, MTL Seminar Series Committee Chair, stated that the committee is determined "to have a series that is well-balanced among MTL disciplines, as well as between industry and academia." In addition, each semester will include MIT "insiders": an Institute-wide speaker, an MTL speaker, and a student speaker.
"The list is worth celebrating, because it is the culmination of a number of changes resulting from the committee's hard work," Dawson said.
The series will return to 34-401 for spring semester. Refreshments are at 3:30PM; seminars start at 4:00PM. The MTL Seminar Series is free and open to the public.
